So...I've been busy, and haven't been able to keep up with this thing. I'll work backwards... Today: wasted it all to puzzles.
Friday: Class lunch at East Side Marios. It was fun. I sat near Irene and Sune, and we talked a lot amongst ourselves, leaving the rest of the class as another clique. The lunch took forever to arrive, and took only a few minutes to finish, so it wasn't much of a lunch. We eventually stayed for about 2 hours, leaving me slightly worried about the possible incompletion of Bible games, but that didn't matter eventually. On the way back, we encountered the worst winds blowing toward us, with some snow mixed in it. Walking backwards was the key to survival, apparently. Anyway, it was a good class to be in and I made some new friends, so that's good.
Friday: Bible games. It was ok, I guess. The Jeopardy rounds and the charade went as well as I can ever imagined. There seems to be more tricky questions than I thought, but that was fun. I really regretted the end game, however, where I brought an element of puzzling into it. I was hoping that for each level of puzzle & Bible parts, they would interact with each other so that if one is hard, the other part may provide some useful information. But, what end up being is that each team separated itself into two groups, with one group dedicated to the puzzle part and another dedicated to the Bible part. I didn't like that at all. I guess I should have seen that coming. Anyway, another lesson learned, and I will try to get better the next time.
