Pi in the Sky

There's a TV show on Discovery that examines airplane crashes, and this is a weird one. The plane started to run out of fuel, so the pilot called the air control centre. The pilot is Spanish, and the English word that the pilot used is "priority." Turns out that later the airline blamed the air traffic controllers for not doing enough, and the air traffic controllers blamed the pilot for using the word "priority" instead of "emergency." So then a surviving passenger says this: "In our language, the word for 'priority' means first. We don't know that something at priority can be waited." This "confusion" (which I think is really the air traffic controllers' bad excuse) cost about 80 lives. So sad...

Of course I wasted the day. What else can I do? Didn't get Aaron here, so that's kind of disappointing. Next Friday it is, then...

Today marks the 11th anniversary from the time I became a landed immigrant of Canada.
