Got the NSERC letter today. It's negative. No scholarship for me. Just makes me think that the whole ordeal last October was totally wasted...it's going to be hard to get motivated to apply again.

Had another exercise session today, with a bit of blood and sweat flowing around (and I'm not kidding when I say this literally).

Funniest thing today:
A student points to the blackboard and asks: "What is that?"
Professor's answer: "Exactly that."
