There was a fire alarm here in the residence. I was sleeping, so was Alan, and we were both visibly shaken by the alarm... Initially we weren't going to go out, but eventually we caved. Francis and I went out for dinner and Alan apparently went to his office. Apparently this was a real fire alarm, as the air had some smoky smell to it...

In all likelihood, I will not go to McD's again...that was horrible.
