Wow...who knew that a highly annoying team can actually be eliminated on The Amazing Race? Glad to know that I'm actually cool with the final five teams this time around... Anyway, that was a race that got a bit scary, which was not fun to watch.

I don't think I care much about the Olympics, quite frankly. They are just a bunch of mostly younger-than-me kids performing some strange gestures with their body. Here's a strange quote from a member of the losing Canadian swimming relay team: "I'm not really disappointed. Well, I am, but I'm not."

I'm dropping further down the vortex of depression. This time due to the phone calls from home. I don't know...I think my attitudes toward my family are pretty horrible.
