My internet's back, surprisingly. Guess the IST people aren't that dumb...
The Ginger farewell dinner hot pot (which has almost nothing to do with Ginger, quite frankly) was surprisingly pleasant. At least everyone (except possibly me) put on a pleasant face for the evening. I finally finished the entire Rush Hour set, ending my Rush Hour career. We played Scrabble (oh alright, I'm a board game freak)...
Game 1: Ginger 65, Ed 104, Me 107, MuTao 71.
Game 2: MuTao 109, Me 131, Roger 74, Ginger 90.
Of course then I revealed that we were playing under modified rules, and Roger would have been in at least 3rd place if we played like that. He is awarded the most efficient player of all time, finishing his letters every game he played (which is 2). Ginger played Scrabble instead of doing the work report, claiming that Scrabble is more addictive... Longest words: Solder, Ladies (very smart play by Roger). Highest scoring word: Fixes (with triple letter score on X). "Oh of course I knew that was a word" words: Get, Ago. And looks like Trivial Pursuit and Monopoly are heading into the garbage dumps...
Obviously happiness is temporary, but I didn't know that it lasts only a few seconds.
