Burnt out + swamped + bad Race finale + no air conditioning + parents coming = panic mode. Need. To. Calm. Down.

Wow, 87 virus-infected emails in the past 48 hours, and still counting! Good job, virus creators...(sarcastic voice)

Total number of hours used toward the thesis yesterday: 0.

I use the lack of air conditioning in the math building as an excuse for procrastination, but seriously, I really need to get something going here.

In other news, the grand finale of The Amazing Race is tomorrow. Probably the last time I'll be watching the Race, unfortunately...

I would really like to put in at least 7 hours of work toward the thesis tomorrow. However, it seems to be quite impossible... We'll see what happens then.

All sleep + no work = high anxiety.

Three earthly things that are bothering me right now: my masters thesis, my PhD supervisor hunting, and the possible car buying (now that my parents promised to buy me a car, I'm starting to think if I'm up to the task of being responsible for that complex piece of machinery...).

Three weird things that happened in my dream last night: it was snowing here (in August?!); we were playing hide and seek, and Jason was the one hiding on the ceiling; I thought the final I'm supposed to proctor occurred last Friday, and I missed it.

Note to self: Create a page detailing ten things that you should do if you want to be in the final three of The Amazing Race. Also create a page detailing everyone's progress in reading The Purpose-Driven Life. Maybe add a blog or two as discussion pages for it.

Unwillingly went to Toronto for a concert. It turned out to be wonderful, though my ears almost exploded. Fellowship with Paul, Thian-Peng, Roger and Keane on the car was just absolutely marvelous.

I was marking finals when the light went off yesterday. Quite funny to be totally in the dark.

I've never really realized the importance of sunset until now. For once, the sun became a time constraint. And for once, my sleeping pattern was dependent on the sun...

Without electricity, there is a sense of peace and quiet. Wish the electricity didn't come back on so quick...

Washing 3 loads of laundry in one night provided a ton of exercise...

Props to you if you have any idea what I was (and will be) talking about on this page. Here's another sentence for you to ponder: Is it worth it to come back here 2 days early in order to serve 4 students?

I think my visit to Vancouver can be summed up by the slogan of The Comedy Network (when I still had that channel): Time well wasted.

By the way, thanks, Bobby! You're the best!

I'm still here? Amazing...
