Pi in the Sky

I wanted a journal, and this is it.

Block decomposition and recursion. I was going fast again, but it wasn’t too bad. Didn’t really want to do the last example in recursion, but have to because of the assignment. Might have rambled a bit with it.

Handed out assignments, and learned a few more names. Nick wanted to teach this class…heh. Office hours was fun but ended too quickly.

Talked to Ian about Monday’s lecture. He had many positive things to say, with just a few specific details in the materials that I could have presented better. Unfortunately, no more teaching jobs for the fall.

The annual get-sick-in-June thing started yesterday. I was almost expecting it to happen prior to that, and it just suddenly came. It’s very annoying, but what can I do? I don’t know what allergies I might have… So now I’m just using a ton of tissues and getting tired quickly.

I’m continually torn between two extremes of emotions. On the one hand, I’m very thankful for being so blessed in everything. On the other hand, I’m very stressed over the coming unemployment in September. It’s so schizophrenic.

Been addicted to Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 soundtracks. Awesome music.

It started out with me getting sick in the morning. Then having Mikey’s lunch which made my stomach feel weird. Then having the lecture with Ian observing. Then me feeling so awful during and after this lecture. I just didn’t have a good way of presenting proofs involving unique creation. I was also rushing (like usual), because I’m getting further and further behind schedule. So I have a feeling that Ian isn’t impressed at all. Anyway, we’ll see about that tomorrow.

Had a discussion with Nick on some stuffs, and it turns out that he has over-the-wall discussion with Chris which was pretty funny.

Quiz Wednesday, moved my Thursday office to Tuesday, but nobody came. So I guess they’re all ready for the quiz then? Good thing Tim dropped by so I wasn’t so bored.
