It’s one of those lectures where I just couldn’t feel motivated and just deliver a boring lecture. I don’t know, maybe it’s the nature of the material, which has been pretty dry recently. Lots of proofs, lots of blank stares, oh well.
People stopped coming to office hours…even though I find the assignment pretty hard. Hmm…maybe I’m the only one.
I found some applications for the singular value decomposition which is coming up in lectures soon. They are interesting, but I wonder how interesting they can be when I try to talk about “real world” applications when I don’t live in this “real world”…
