Hmm…how did I get involved in the summer camp for the fellowship here in Saskatoon? Heh…and that’s how I spent the day today, looking at the location and planning games for it. I’m not complaining, of course, but somehow it feels weird…I kind of go into an autopilot mode when doing these kinds of things, I guess, so it’s more like I don’t enjoy nor complain about this serving process… Sounds confusing… Anyway, KCS and I had two Carcassonne sessions today (which he refused to call Meeples by their respected name…instead, calling them meatballs…). We played the 3rd edition farmer’s rule…heh. First game, I accidentally won since two farms merged together to create a tie on the farmers…it was a close game, though…score: KCS 109, me 113. Second game, I was one tile away from completing a giant city…oops. I lost this one…by a large margin…score: KCS 124, me 101.

A few other things I’ve done in Saskatoon…

• I almost finished watching the first season of Arrested Development, which I really like, especially Buster…heh.
• I started playing Myst V, and it’s creepy and confusing, as usual…
• I find myself too shy for my own good…example: I wanted to meet Byron from the WPC, but I was slightly hesitant to contact him, probably for fear of him not remembering me or not knowing what to do when we meet…
• I’m starting to enjoy this new computer now…it’s kind of nice.
• I need to stop thinking about buying stuffs…even if I have legitimately good reasons to buy them…
• I’m not sure what I want to do with the video camera that my parents left me last year…now that I’m able to transfer the video to the computer, there should be a ton of interesting things that I could do with it…all requiring creativity, which I don’t have…
• On Sunday, a few of us went to a restaurant for lunch, and some of us ordered the “special” giant meal…and boy was it a giant meal… On a hot plate were fried rice, two eggs, some vegetables, a piece of chicken, a piece of pork, two hot dogs and some bacon. It was 18 hours before my next meal… Forest and Brian would have loved this.
• I can use Skype now, and my user name on it is martin.pei. However, I’m usually not on it, since only TP is on the list of friends…so I guess you could msn me first and then we can use Skype?
• TP & Sinnie are house hunting these days. The housing market in Saskatoon is crazy, apparently…sort of like Calgary… They didn’t find a good home this past weekend…and this is going to be how they spend their weekends in the near future.

Heading to Calgary tomorrow to see Forest! Hope and pray for the best…
